A New Student’s Guide to Getting Involved

Surveys conducted by NC State have found that being involved on campus gives students a stronger support network, makes them more likely to graduate (and on time), helps them develop a range of skill sets, and makes them more marketable to employers when they graduate. In addition, those students feel a greater sense of belonging to the Wolfpack and make friends and memories that will last a lifetime.

Student Involvement Fair

Learn more about and connect with student organizations! Our Student Involvement Fairs take place at the beginning of each semester and showcase hundreds of our student organizations.

Mini Involvement Fairs

Discover new passions at our Mini Involvement Fairs. Each Mini Involvement Fair is themed around an interest area and showcases student organizations related to that interest.

Student Organization Registration

In support of the academic mission of the University as well as individual student success, student organizations are required to register every academic year.

Student Organization Resource Corner

The Student Organization Resource Corner (SORC) is designed to give student leaders access to the use of a conference table and free supplies for their student organization.

Advisors

All student organizations are required to have an advisor. The presence of advisors is an integral part of ensuring the success and well-being of our student organizations and leaders.

Training and Education

Student Organization leaders can learn basic rules and procedures, develop advanced skills, and set goals that position the organization for success at the annual ENGAGE Conference and One Time Workshops.
