Who We Are

In 2012, the Union Activities Board (now University Activities Board), SORC (Student Organization Resource Center), and Student Government were brought together to create Student Involvement.  The Center for Student Leadership, Ethics, and Public Service (named Leadership and Civic Engagement in 2017) was created in 1998.  In 2020, Student Involvement and Leadership and Civic Engagement were united to form Student Leadership and Engagement.

Our Staff

• 12 Full-time practitioners/educators 
• 4 Graduate assistants

• Approximately 300 participants in Alternative Service Break
• 845 registered student organizations in 2025-2026
• Over 3,000 users of the Online Service Portal and 40+ community agencies 
• 34,000+ students served by Student Government, serving as the official voice of the student body
• 25,355 involved users of Get Involved
